Short-term certificate On December 29th, 2017, at the Hall of College of Agriculture and Applied Biology, Can Tho University (CTU) held the signing ceremony to launch the training course "Building your future". Attending the ceremony were representatives of De Heus Vietnam Company, CTU, College of Agriculture and Applied Biology, students received scholarships.

CTU is one of the key universities of the region and the country. For many years, the university has always been ranked among top universities in Vietnam. Training quality is one of the main components that create CTU brand, and quality is also the commitment of CTU to employers in the context of strong competition between higher education institutions. Towards the strategic development objective of the university in promoting the development of high quality training programs, Department of Animal Sciences and Veterinary of CTU, in collaboration with De Heus Vietnam Company, develop the training course "Building your future" for students majored in Animal Sciences and Veterinary.
The training program is designed to train highly skilled and well-qualified students in accordance with the job requirements of the recruiter. The curriculum is entirely in English, after completion of the course, students can work directly with foreigners. Five courses will be organized with estimated cost of 1.5 billion VND. Each course lasts for two years, and the first course is launched from January 2018, with 10 scholarships corresponding to 10 students majored in the field of Animal Sciences and Veterinary of CTU (the scholarship costs 12 million VND per students). When attending the course, students are equipped with learning equipment, practiced professionally at De Heus Vietnam’s experimental farms, allowed to participate in De Heus Vietnam’s activities. In addition, students have the opportunity to work in De Heus Vietnam after graduation.

At the ceremony, Assoc.prof.Dr. Ha Thanh Toan, Rector of CTU expressed the joyfulness for a new beginning for the good cooperation of CTU with a prestigious partner in the market of producing animal feed. The development of a training program cooperatively trained by the university and the business is the right direction to meet the needs of the employer, at the same time, this is also the goal of the university with the desire to train students with high quality and dynamism to meet the requirements of the current international integration. The Rector believes that the partnership between the university and De Heus Vietnam will benefit both sides, contributing to the growth of the livestock sector in general.
