On March 14th 2012, in collaboration with the U.S. Consulate-General in Ho. Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho University (CTU) held an introduction meeting at the hall of Learning Resources Center – CTU to introduce information on study overseas and how to ask for a visa to the United States (U.S).

The information about studying and student visa in the U.S was directly presented by officials of the U.S. Consulate-General, including Mr. Michael Seatak - Head of non-immigrant visa department and Ms. Quach Thi My Ngoc – Senior expert consultant in study in the United States. The introduction attracted the attention of CTU students who desire to continue their higher study in the universities of the U.S. The contents exchanged between advisory groups and CTU students were related to the issues such as how to find a university online, how to assure the universities chosen, admission procedures, scholarships and financial aids, etc.
