Graduation Ceremony for Students of International M.Sc Program of Animal Production – MEKARN

On March 6^th 2012, Can Tho University (CTU) solemnly celebrated the Graduation Ceremony for graduated students of  International Master of Science (M.Sc.) Program of Animal Production in the MEKARN Program, course 2011-2012. The Ceremony happened under the witness of representatives of  the Rectorate Board, including A/Prof. Dr. Ha Thanh Toan – Rector, A/Prof. Dr. Do Van Xe – Vice Rector; along with representatives of leaders from Graduate School and 18 lecturers and professors who gave lectures and instructions for the graduated students. The lecturers and professors come from universities of  Colombia, England, Sweden, Cambodia, and Laos, Hue University, Institute of Animal Husbandry in Ha Noi, University of Agriculture and Forestry in Ho Chi Minh city and CTU.

The Graduation Ceremony for graduated students of  International Master of Science (M.Sc.) Program of Animal Production in the MEKARN Program,

This course was the first one in which CTU was approved to be the host university to execute the International M.Sc. Training Program by the Ministry of Education and Training, Vietnam (MOET). In order to develop and enhance the qualified human resources to meet the demands of adapting to climate change and the risk of exhaustion of natural resources, MOET, by the official document No. 1388, approved CTU to carry on the MEKARN program, giving the training to graduated students in International M.Sc. Program of Animal Production, specialized in Response to Climate Change and Depletion of Non-renewable Resources.

The course was funded The MEKARN Program, The organization of NUFU (Norwegian Program for Development, Research and Education) and Orskov (funding the development of the poorest communities in the world) , MOET  and CTU.
