In the morning of March 6th 2012, Can Tho University (CTU) was honoured to welcome the Delegation from Kyoto Institute of Technology (KIT). At CTU side were A/Prof. Dr. Le Viet Dung – Vice Rector; representatives of Department of International Relation along with related staffs and the candidates from the Mekong 1000 program.

Representatives of KIT to visit CTU were Ms. Hiromi Kobayashi – Director of Department of International Affairs, Hitomi Hatashita – Chief of Student Exchange Services, A/Prof. Dr Shingo Izawa – Laboratory of Microbial Engineering, and Ms.Yuko Kagihara – Staff of Department of International Affairs.
On the basis of previous collaboration, both sides discussed and exchanged the ideas for further expansion in the future. Also on this occasion, KIT delegation carried out interviews to the candidates from the Mekong 1000 project, who are interested in their higher education and research in KIT.
