In the morning of April 5th, 2017, College of Aquaculture and Fisheries, Can Tho University (CTU) held the 1st Graduation Ceremony in 2017. Attending the ceremony were Prof. Claude Boyd, Lecturer at Auburn University, USA; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Thi Thanh Hien, Vice Rector of CTU; leader representatives of CTU’s units; graduates and their families and friends.

College of Aquaculture and Fisheries is the key training institution for fisheries in the Mekong Delta and Vietnam. The College is committed to improving the quality of aquaculture training at par with regional universities and meeting the demands of high quality human resources. At present, the College offers 05 undergraduate, 02 master and 01 doctoral programs. Especially, the College’s advanced program of aquaculture was internationally recognized by AUN-QA in 2013.
Among 263 graduates awarded new bachelor degrees, the percentage of excellent, good, fair, average students is 4.6%, 29.7%, 64.6%, and 1.1%, respectively.
Also, in April 2017, CTU held graduation ceremonies for other units including College of Agriculture and Applied Biology (April 11th, 2017), College of Economics (April 12th, 2017), College of Environment and Natural Resources (April 13th, 2017), College of Engineering and Technology (April 14th, 2017) with total number of 2,018 graduates.
