Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) has officially released the QS World University Rankings 2027, featuring 1,504 higher education institutions from 106 countries and territories worldwide. This year, nine Vietnamese higher education institutions were included in the rankings. Among them, Can Tho University was once again placed in the 1401+ band globally, ranking 7th among the Vietnamese universities recognized by QS.

This marks the second consecutive year in which Can Tho University has been included in one of the world's most prestigious and influential university rankings. The achievement reflects the University's continuous efforts to enhance educational quality, strengthen scientific research, expand international cooperation, and fulfill its social responsibility toward sustainable development.

The QS World University Rankings is one of the world's most prestigious and influential university ranking systems. Universities are assessed using a comprehensive set of indicators, including academic reputation, employer reputation, research performance, faculty-to-student ratio, internationalization, sustainability, and several other performance metrics.
