From October 17-19, 2024, The College of Aquaculture and Fisheries, Can Tho University hosts the International Conference on Aquaculture (Panoramic View of Innovations 2024) in Phu Quoc.

With the theme "Panoramic View of Innovations", this year's conference gathers scientists and businesses from various countries around the world, along with Vietnam, especially experts and researchers from Can Tho University, to share research achievements, advanced aquaculture technology processes, and ideas for breakthroughs and innovations. With 120 articles (including 80 oral presentations, 47 posters across 11 different topics, and 02 panel discussions on climate change) from experts and scientists and over 230 delegates from 19 countries participating, the conference is not only an opportunity to approach state-of-the-art scientific and technological advancements in aquaculture but also a chance to enhance international cooperation and establish research network.

The conference spans three days, featuring a keynote with five presentations and multiple thematic sessions. Additionally, notable researches are presented in poster format.

Innovations from breakthrough fields such as Fish breeding and nursing; Aquaculture techniques; Recirculating aquaculture; Fish nutrition and physiology; Fish health management; Selective breeding and propagation; Environmental management in aquaculture; Food processing and safety; and particularly two new areas on sharing industrial innovations and animal welfare, will contribute to mitigating challenges such as environmental degradation, disease outbreaks, and the impacts of climate change.
