On May 15, 2026, Can Tho University welcomed and worked with Prof. Alaina J. Ammit - Associate Dean, Faculty of Science, and Prof. Angela Dawson - Associate Dean, Faculty of Health, from the University of Technology Sydney (Australia). The meeting was chaired by Dr. Le Van Lam - Vice Rector of Can Tho University, with the participation of representatives from relevant units.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed orientations for cooperation in education, scientific research, and the development of interdisciplinary academic programs, focusing on areas such as climate change, environment and natural resources, information technology, engineering, health, and social sciences. These are all important fields in the context of green transition, digital transformation, and sustainable development becoming global trends.
