Undergraduate On May 20, 2026, a delegation from the Australian Embassy in Hanoi, led by Ms. Naomi Cook - Counsellor, Development of the Australian Embassy in Hanoi, paid an official visit to Can Tho University. The delegation was welcomed by Dr. Le Van Lam - Vice Rector of Can Tho University, along with representatives of relevant units.
The meeting took place at Can Tho University’s Administration Building
During the meeting, the two sides discussed their respective areas of strength and potential cooperation needs, while also seeking to advance the bilateral relationship in education and community development projects. The Australian Embassy in Hanoi expressed strong interest in strengthening cooperation with Can Tho University on applied research projects, innovation, and science-based policy support aimed at enhancing climate change adaptation capacity in the Mekong Delta region. Both sides also expressed their hope to expand linkages among universities, enterprises, and management agencies, thereby contributing to the enhancement of research capacity and the broader dissemination of knowledge and expertise to the community.
