The QS World University Rankings is among the most prestigious global rankings, reflecting the quality of education and research at higher education institutions worldwide. This year, ten Vietnamese universities are ranked, and CTU is ranked sixth among these 10 universities. Additionally, CTU is ranked in the 801+ group in most indicators, reflecting its inclusive development across the fields of education, research, and international engagement.
The QS World University Rankings 2026 evaluates higher education institutions based on various indicators, including academic reputation, employment outcomes, faculty-student ratio, international research network, international student ratio, research citations per faculty, employment reputation, international faculty ratio, international students diversity, and sustainability. Among these criteria, Can Tho University was ranked in the 801+ band across several indicators, reflecting a balanced development in education, research, global engagement, and sustainability.
This achievement not only demonstrates the continued efforts of CTU’s faculty, staff, and students but also affirms CTU’s growing reputation as a leading hub for education, research, and translational knowledge and technology in the Mekong Delta region and Vietnam.
