Annual Staff Conference - school year 2017-2018

From September 11th to 17th, 2017, all units of Can Tho University (CTU) have organized the conference of staff in the school year of 2017-2018. It is a prerequisite for CTU’s staff conference to be taken place on October 10th, 2017.
 

The Conference was attended by Ms. Vu Thi Ngoc, Chief Representative of National Education Union of Vietnam in the South; CTU’s Rectorate Board; Communist Party Committee, Standing Committee of CTU’s Labor Union; and 491 delegates representing nearly 2,000 staff members of CTU.


The overall view of the Conference


The 2017-2018 Staff Conference was held to evaluate the implementation of last year’s resolution and propose the plans to perform the tasks in the school year of 2017-2018. The conference received many comments, ideas contributing to building solutions for a more successful school year.

Over the past years, CTU Labor Union has received the attention of Vietnam Education Union. At this meeting, Ms. Vu Thi Ngoc, Chief Representative of National Education Union of Vietnam sent congratulations on the achievements that CTU had achieved in the last school year, and expressed her belief that CTU’s staff would achieve more successes in the new school year of 2017-2018.


In the new school year, CTU with creativity and strategic initiative will increasingly affirm the brand in the education sector across country and in the international education community. On this occasion, the Conference called for all CTU’s staff to continue the tradition of unity, dynamism, creativity, serious performance of assigned tasks, well observe the regulations of Ministry of Education and Training and itself to build a stronger and more sustainable in all aspects, being worthy of the country’s key universities.
