Short-term certificate On October 09th, 2017, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ha Thanh Toan, Rector of Can Tho University (CTU) and leader representatives of CTU’s units welcomed and worked with professors of Department of Electrical Engineering and Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), Taiwan on collaborative programs.

NCKU, located in Tainan City, is Taiwan’s second-ranked university and the first-ranked one in the field of Science and Technology. Cheng Kung is among the top 100 universities in the Asia-Pacific region. The University has 09 colleges, 43 departments, 39 institutes with more than 3,500 staff members. At present, the University offers 44 undergraduate, 101 master and 55 doctoral programs with a total enrollment of over 21,000 students by 2016.

At the meeting, professors from Department of Electrical Engineering and Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, and representatives from College of Technology Engineering, College of Information and Communication Technology, CTU discussed in details the cooperative activities of student exchange and summer school in 2018. After that, the professors of NCKU had a meeting with staff and students of CTU to introduce scholarships opportunities for pursuing master and PhD programs in NCKU.
