In order to share the results as well as orientation for scientific research in the fields of environment, natural resources and climate change, on November 24th, 2017, College of Environment and Natural Resources in collaboration with Research Institute for Climate Change of Can Tho University (CTU) organized a scientific workshop on "Environment, Natural Resources and Climate Change".

The workshop on "Environment, Natural Resources and Climate Change" is held every two years to share the results of scientific studies on environment, natural resources and climate change. The workshop took place with a plenary session in which the report on achievements of scientific research and cooperation of College of Environment and Natural Resources, and Research Institute of Climate Change, and the introduction of research directions on environment and climate change have been presented. In addition, there are 18 reports on pollution treatment; management of land, natural resources and environment; water resources and climate change in three parallel sub-sessions.
The workshop received 128 abstract submissions, of which 72 full-text were submitted for evaluation, 44 were selected to published in CTU Journal of Science, special issue on "Environment and Climate Change". Those research results contribute to the provision of scientific information for applied research in local practical conditions and serve as references for research projects at local levels.
