Graduation Ceremony for Masters in Food Technology (taught in English) - Third and Fourth Cohort

On the morning of September 26th, 2023, the ceremony for awarding Master's degrees in Food Technology, taught in English for cohorts 3 and 4, took place at Can Tho University (CTU). The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Ha Thanh Toan, Rector of CTU, representatives of CTU's leadership, and the new Masters who are domestic students and those who come from the Philippines, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, their family and friends.

In his speech at the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Ha Thanh Toan sent his congratulations and expressed gratitude for the relentless efforts of the new Masters throughout their learning and research journey, especially during the challenging period in the beginning, when they faced difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Rector also thanked the partners for their trust and support in helping CTU successfully fulfill its educational tasks and enhance the quality of teaching, particularly in English programs and teaching for international students.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ly Nguyen Binh, Vice Director of the Institute of Food and Biotechnology at CTU, provided a preliminary summary of the student's learning process over the past two years. He also acknowledged the contributions of the students to the learning and research activities at CTU, which have served to continuously improve teaching methods and enhance the quality of research at CTU.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Stanley Steven Matonange, a new Master from Tanzania, expressed his gratitude to CTU for the dedicated assistance and support provided throughout his two years of study. Mr. Stanley highly appreciated the modern facilities of the university and the high-quality faculty who supported the students in their research and learning endeavors. He also expressed delight in experiencing the multicultural environment at CTU, where he had the opportunity to interact with Vietnamese students and students from other countries around the world.
