Discussion with Cambridge University on the cooperation in teaching English

On April 23^rd, 2019, Can Tho University (CTU) had a meeting with representative of Cambridge University on the possibilities of cooperation in developing international English language standards for students, professional development for English teachers and CTU's lecturers, and learning about Cambridge University's testing and assessment programs.

At the meeting, Ms. Pham Hoang Uyen, Indochina Country-Regional Manager of Cambridge University, shared her desire to sign a comprehensive cooperation with CTU on developing English standards according to internationally recognized frameworks for CTU's students, training to improve professional development and language competencies for the University's lecturers, and fostering the team of testing of the University.

CTU will consider becoming a test site of Cambridge University in Vietnam, organizing Cambridge English examinations for international certificates for students of CTU and students of universities and colleges in the Mekong Delta region.
