Can Tho University and Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University Sign Memorandum of Agreement to Enhance Educational and Training Activities

On June 2, 2025, Can Tho University (CTU) held a working session and signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University (KPRU), Thailand. Attending the program were Asst. Prof. Dr. Preeyanuch Prompasit - President of KPRU, along with the delegation and 19 students. Representing CTU were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Trung Tinh - Rector, and leaders of various units.

CTU and KPRU have committed to strengthening bilateral cooperation by promoting joint activities in education and training for mutual development. The two universities have agreed to focus on student and faculty exchange programs, co-organize interdisciplinary academic activities, and, in particular, implement credit transfer programs. These initiatives aim to provide students with better access to multicultural learning environments while broadening their knowledge and essential skills in the context of global integration.

Welcoming the delegation from KPRU, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Trung Tinh expressed his delight at the long-standing cooperation between CTU and its Thai partners. CTU has signed 44 memoranda of understanding with 27 Thai educational institutions and organizations. Each year, many CTU staff, lecturers, and students travel to Thailand to participate in exchange programs, short-term training courses, and international conferences. The Rector also expressed his hope that the students from KPRU would enjoy a meaningful and memorable experience during their time at CTU.

During the program, Asst. Prof. Dr. Preeyanuch Prompasit expressed her sincere appreciation for the warm hospitality extended by CTU. President of KPRU reaffirmed the shared vision of advancing education and pledged to further strengthen collaboration in training and research between the two institutions in the future.

This cooperation agreement marks an important step forward in strengthening the sustainable and friendly relationship between CTU and KPRU. Furthermore, this academic partnership fosters cultural exchange, mutual understanding, and essential skill development for learners within an international academic environment.
