Short-term certificate On April 18th, 2018, the Representative Office of Hessen Scholarship collaborated with Can Tho University (CTU) to organize the ceremony to award scholarships for excellent students studying at the universities and colleges in the Mekong Delta in the academic year of 2017-2018. Attending the ceremony were Dr. Bui Cong Tho, Chief Representative of the Hessen Scholarship Office, Federal Republic of Germany in Vietnam; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Trung Tinh, Vice Rector of CTU, representatives of staff, and students receiving scholarships from 06 universities and colleges in the Mekong Delta.

In the academic year of 2017-2018, the Hessen Representative Office granted 22 scholarships (5.8 million VND per scholarship, equivalent to 216 Euros) for excellent students of 06 universities and colleges in the Mekong Delta, including CTU (06 scholarships), Tien Giang University (04 scholarships), Dong Thap University (02 scholarships), Tra Vinh University (05 scholarships), Ben Tre College (03 scholarships), and Ca Mau Economics-Technology College (02 scholarships).
Hessen Scholarship Program is one of the very significant, meaningful and practical scholarship sources, accompanying CTU, as well as universities and colleges in Vietnam to support and encourage disadvantaged students to make a great effort to study well with outstanding results. In the upcoming time, Hessen Scholarship Program will continuously consider and award scholarships for excellent students of universities and colleges across the country. Hessen Scholarship really plays significant roles in contributing to strengthen the diplomatic relationship and friendship between Vietnam and Germany, especially in the field of education and training.
