Held from May 7 to June 4, 2026, the Credit Transfer Program provided Walailak University students with the opportunity to study in CTU’s dynamic, modern, and internationally oriented academic environment. Throughout their academic journey in Vietnam, the students attended specialized courses at the School of Education while also experiencing the cultural, social, and academic life distinctive to the Mekong Delta region. In addition to gaining in-depth disciplinary knowledge, the Thai students enhanced their language proficiency, intercultural communication skills, adaptability, and global mindset in an increasingly interconnected world.

Within the framework of the program, courses were delivered according to mutually agreed academic content, ensuring compatibility and credit recognition between the two institutions. The program not only enabled students to explore new learning approaches and academic perspectives but also contributed to developing their ability to work effectively in multicultural environments, meeting the growing demand for highly qualified human resources across ASEAN and beyond.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Le Van Lam commended the students for their dedication, academic commitment, and active engagement throughout the program. The Vice President of CTU emphasized the important role of international academic exchange programs in broadening learning opportunities, promoting the exchange of knowledge and cultures, and nurturing globally minded graduates equipped with professional competence, adaptability, and a strong spirit of collaboration.

Dr. Le Van Lam expressed his hope that the experiences and connections established at CTU would continue to accompany the Walailak University students, and that the University would have the pleasure of welcoming them back in the future

A representative of the Walailak University student, Ms. Sammueang Supichaya expressed sincere appreciation to CTU, as well as to the faculty members and students of the School of Education, for their support and companionship throughout the program. She shared that the four weeks at CTU had provided not only valuable academic knowledge but also deeper insights into Vietnamese culture, people, and the unique characteristics of the Mekong Delta. The classroom experiences, academic exchanges, and friendships formed during the program will remain treasured memories and serve as a bridge connecting students from the two universities, further promoting the spirit of cooperation and friendship between Vietnam and Thailand.
