On July 13, 2026, Can Tho University (CTU) awarded Certificates of Completion to 19 faculty members and staff from Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University (Thailand), marking the successful completion of the Short-term English Professional Development Training Program for Teaching and Research. The program concluded successfully, reaffirming the effectiveness of the partnership between the two universities in advancing human resource development and promoting the internationalization of higher education. The ceremony was presided over by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Trung Tinh - President of CTU, and attended by Dr. Le Van Lam - Vice President, representatives of the University's academic and administrative units, together with the 19 faculty members and staff who completed the program.
The program was designed to integrate English language enhancement, academic exchange, and experiential learning. Throughout the course, participants attended a series of specialized sessions aimed at strengthening English proficiency for teaching, research, and academic communication; engaged in in-depth discussions with CTU faculty members; delivered final academic presentations; and participated in cultural activities, visits to CTU's academic units and facilities, and exchanges with CTU lecturers and students.
