Short-term certificate On October 27, 2023, at the Vietnam Youth Academy in Hanoi, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee and the Ministry of Science and Technology collaborated to organize the 20th-anniversary celebration of the Golden Globe Science and Technology Award and the presentation of the Golden Globe Science and Technology Awards 2023. This award aims to honor outstanding young talents in science and technology under the age of 35 who are studying and researching either domestically or internationally.
The event was attended by Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan, leaders from various agencies, ministries, institutes, and universities. Prof.Dr. Tran Ngoc Hai, Vice Rector of Can Tho University (CTU), also attended and congratulated the scientists and students who received awards.
In this year, among the 10 young scientists who received the award, CTU had the honor of having Assoc.Prof.Dr. Huynh Trong Phuoc from the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the College of Engineering as an outstanding recipient of the Golden Globe Science and Technology Award.

In addition, the Vietnam Female Science and Technology Student Award 2023 was presented to 20 female students, including 3 female students from CTU. They are Huynh Ngoc Tuyet from the College of Information and Communication Technology, Tran Thi Kieu Trinh from the College of Engineering, and Lam Ngoc Ngan from the Institute of Food and Biotechnology.
