Admission Consultation and Career Orientation Day 2024 at Can Tho University

On March 10^th, 2024, the Admission Consultation and Career Orientation Day 2024 took place at Campus 2, Can Tho University (CTU). The event was organized by CTU; Tuoi Tre Newspaper; the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Training (MOET); General Directorate of Vocational Training, Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs; Department of Education and Training of Can Tho City. This is a significant event, attracting the interest and participation of over 20,000 high school students in the Mekong Delta region.

At the event, high school students learned more about the national high school graduation exam, majors, career opportunities, and new enrollment regulations in 2024. In addition, the issues related to tuition fees, scholarships, and support services for students with difficult economic conditions were addressed.

The consultation booth of CTU was crowded with lots of students and their parents who came for advice and answers. The students expressed their desire to study at CTU after completing the national high school graduation exam.

At this year’s event, there were over 140 consultation booths from over 100 educational institutions nationwide. All major universities in the Southern region were present at CTU for bustling and diverse activities.

In 2024, CTU offers over 10,000 enrollment slots for 109 undergraduate programs. Among the 7 enrollment methods, the one based on the scores of the V-SAT (Standardized University Admissions Test for Vietnam) is the newest.

Through the Admission Consultation and Career Orientation Day 2024 at CTU, the candidates gained helpful information and better understanding of the universities' majors, tuition fees, policies, and enrollment methods. Thus, students could have specific orientations for the future and choose a major that suits their abilities and interests.

The Admission Consultation and Career Orientation Day 2024 at CTU was successfully held. High school students actually had an overview of the educational and career path they wanted to pursue. Among numerous choices, it is believed that CTU is their first selection. CTU is a crucial university in the Mekong Delta region, with lots of accredited programs to meet national and international quality standards, high-quality and experienced teaching staff, and modern and well-equipped facilities for studying and scientific research.
