Admission information – Advanced programs

The Advanced Programs at Can Tho University are designed based on the curricula of prestigious international universities. These programs are fully aligned with global standards and have been accredited by the ASEAN University Network – Quality Assurance (AUN-QA).

The two Advanced Programs offered are:

• Biotechnology, based on the curriculum of Michigan State University (MSU), USA.

• Aquaculture, based on the curriculum of Auburn University (AU), Alabama, USA.

Students study entirely in English in a highly supportive learning, research, and practical environment. Courses are taught by experienced faculty members trained at leading international universities, and several modules are delivered by professors from Michigan State University and Auburn University.

Degree:
Graduates receive a Formal Bachelor’s Degree – Advanced Program, awarded by Can Tho University. In addition, they are granted a Certificate of Completion, co-signed by both Can Tho University and the partner universities, confirming that the program was fully taught in English.

Duration:
4.5 years

• Biotechnology: 158 credits

• Aquaculture: 163 credits
  (The first semester focuses on English proficiency enhancement, with 15 credits of intensive English training.)

Tuition fee:
Equivalent to 2.2 times the tuition rate of the corresponding standard undergraduate programs.
